Thai Airways launches biofuel passenger flight…
Thai Airways will be the first airline in Asia to fly a commercial passenger flight using biofuels, in order to support the Company’s Travel Green initiative. With the aim of raising awareness on environmental issues and the effects of global warming Thai Airways has taken this step to help in the reduction of carbon dioxide.  THAI hopes that its participation in using biofuels will encourage other carriers in the region to choose biofuel renewable energy over fossil fuels.

Topless woman causes a stir on NZ beach…
A topless woman sunbathing at Opunake beach in New Zealand instigated an official police visit to the peaceful region. According to Fairfax Media, the cops had a chat with the lifeguards, stating that it was not an offence. The middle-aged topless sunbather was not approaching anyone and was about 20 metres from the nearest group of sunbathers. However, a woman was seen forcibly trying to stop her husband for staring at the sunbather. Some of the other beach visitors admitted that they were jealous, wishing that they could be as bold as the topless lady on the sand.

Toy Story-themed area opens at Disney Hong Kong…
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has opened Asia’s first ever Toy Story Land. This new area in Disney contains oversized props resembling Andy’s backyard in the movie. It is intended to make visitors feel as small as the toys in the films. Travel Daily Asia reports that Toy Story Land will be the first of three new themed areas launching at HK Disneyland in the near future.
