Rowena Dela Rosa Yoon is a Canberra-Melbourne based writer. She is a versatile communications specialist with extensive experience in journalism, public affairs, corporate communications and information technology. She has written for national newspapers, magazines, and corporate publications and has evolved with the ebb and tide of print and online journalism. Her articles have appeared in the Manila Bulletin and Korea Herald, among other broadsheets. She has covered travel and tourism, agriculture, environment, society, politics, women’s issues, and a wide range of topics of general interest. She completed her Master of Communications and Media Studies from Monash University. She is a current member of the Melbourne Press Club. The Left-winged Kookaburra does not cackle much but it sees the left side of political spectrum and it advocates pro-enviroment and pro-humanity.
