Bangkok’s Small Boutique Hotel
Boutique Hotel From USD $75
Bangkok, , Thailand
Bedroom, sleeps 2
From USD $75
Hidden from many but familiar to the most discerning travellers, this luxury city-centre hideaway is a perfect point for exploring Thailand’s capital city. With only 13 rooms and suites, what it lacks in size, the exclusive LUXX certainly makes up for with Space, Style, and Privacy.
Staying at LUXX is like having your own apartment in Bangkok.
With Thai-style hospitality, LUXX provides guests not only an accommodation but also an authentic slice of local Thai culture.
All of LUXX's staff keep a discreet but friendly distance and are there for the asking. And if the bed is too comfortable to get out of, you can have a hearty breakfast brought to you in bed.
Despite being labelled one of the smallest hotels in town, actual room space itself was not compromised. A wood framed double glass wall from all rooms overlooks the Zen-inspired pebble garden below, adding to the spaciousness and creating a sense of subtle tranquillity.
If the heat of the city exhausts you, treat yourself to a stress-relieving soak in LUXX's signature wooden bath tub, big enough for two.
The rain shower helps add that extra flair to LUXX's original Zen theme. The bathroom partitions can also be opened and you can even watch television from the bathtub if you are so inclined.
LUXX's rooms are equipped with flat screen TV, cables, CD+DVD player, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, safety deposit box and free WIFI through-out the property.
The suite rooms come with a separate bedroom, iPod stand, LCD TV, sofa corner, and small pantry.
Every LUXX room is comfortably minimalist, with wooden floors, and slickly harmonious accents of silver and slate.
LUXX's signature wooden bathtub with open partition is also a delightful extra touch to every room. Book early to enjoy impressive discount rates.
All room rates include a room service breakfast. Guests will have to plan to dine out for other meals as LUXX has no formal sit down restaurant facilities.
The stylish and private pool is the only other extra you will find at LUXX as it has no gym, no restaurant, bar or club.
"The hotel is quite boutique, very stylish, the common areas as well as the rooms. The rooms are big and beautiful with big balconies. Clean and in good condition. Need to hang out sign on the door handle if you want it cleaned.
Swimming pool is amazing, although it's rather small. Beautiful area with garden and lots of trees so you can lie in the shade next to the pool. I spent a lot of time there in the afternoons after going around bangkok.
The hotel has no restaurant, but that's alright because there's plenty of streetfood if you just walk up to Lumpini. And there is a great thai/chinese restaurant almost opposite the hotel, called Nguan Lee, very famous with the locals." - Anders L, Norway
"Bangkok is a city of extremes. You'll spend as much time drinking Martinis on the 60 somethingth floor as you will eating 30 baht noodles on a plastic chair in the rain. LUXX XL is right in the middle of all this and has king size beds, air-conditioning, a swimming pool, genuinely friendly and helpful staff and it's around 50 bucks a night. Delightfully comfortable for the price and a HUGE discount for booking early and 7 nights or more. A real gem." - Tom Barker
Rooms start at USD $75 per night.
