Once more owned by the same passionate family that ran the hotel in its heyday before the change of regime to Communism in 1975, no stone has been left unturned and no expense spared in the quest to bring this Vientiane landmark back to life.

"It is a tastefully restored colonial style hotel of good quality. We had a ground floor room, well furnished and with a good bathroom. The hotel is well located for sightseeing, we walked just about everywhere we needed to go. The staff were attentive and helpful, a feature we found throughout Lao during our tour. The staff were all very charming and pleasant, especially Sarah on reception. The breakfast was excellent too." Lucille, Stamford, UK
"This small old heritage French colonial hotel may not be as grand as some comparable properties in neighbouring countries, but is a perfect starting point to discover the very sleepy Lao capital Vientiane. It's an intimate space with rooms decorated in heavy wooden furniture and very high ceilings. The design can be a bit 'dusty' but actually it suits the capital. We were here for 1-night only, and for our short-stay, it fulfilled all our needs." Bojantercon, Singapore
Depending on season, length of stay and package deals you can expect to start at USD $150 per night up to nearly USD $500 per night for the top executive suite.
