Soria Moria has a strong commitment towards sustainable tourism development, and is committed to minimise negative environmental impacts and have positive impacts on the local culture and local economy, while helping to generate income and employment and share ownership for local people.

The initial idea behind Soria Moria was to combine a business opportunity with a strong focus on helping the local community through various means, especially by contribution to long-term economic development. By actively supporting and encouraging the interaction of guests and the neighboring environment, it is possible  to create a win-win-win situation for all parties involved, where both the tourists, the local environment and the business itself will benefit.

Cementing this relationship with attentive service and professionalism on the part of all staff members make this eco-minded hotel a must for those seeking a sustainable holiday experience in Siem Reap.

"Soria Moria located at Wat Bo road in Siem Reap is just ten minutes walk away from the old market. The decision to make Soria Moria the place to stay while i am in Siem Reap is due to their commitment towards sustainable tourism development by creating positive impacts on the local culture and economy. I stayed here for 4 nights during March 2012 and never regret spending a single night here. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable and worth every dollar that you paid for. Service is top notch and the service staff always try to go the extra mile to help you with any of your request." Danzelho, Singapore

"I stayed here for three nights in March 2012, with a friend who works in the hotel industry. Consequently, she can be a little 'discerning', but agreed that Soria Moria was consistently excellent in all respects (phew!) - which makes it superb value for money. Particular highlights were the breakfast and the tour arrangements made by the friendly reception staff. The only thing lacking is a swimming pool (there just isn't the space for one), but the jacuzzi tub was very pleasant."
